Common questions.

What are the billable services?

LingaCast covers five services: Live Events (real-time captioning & dubbing), Transcoding (GPU video processing + AI dubbing), Interpreter (browser-based live interpretation), Translation (uploaded video dubbing), and CDN (HLS delivery bandwidth). Each plan includes a fixed monthly quota for every service.

How are hours calculated?

Each service tracks AI usage (speech-to-text, translation, and text-to-speech) independently. Since pipeline steps run in parallel, you are billed for the longest step, not the sum. One hour of live event audio with 3 target languages = 1 event hour.

What happens if I reach my included hours?

There is no overage billing. Once your plan quota is reached, new usage of that service is paused until the next billing cycle. You can monitor usage in real time from your dashboard and upgrade your plan at any time to lift the cap.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Your subscription ends at the current billing period.

Is there a free trial?

Your first event is free on any plan — no credit card required. Create an account to get started.

Do you offer annual discounts?

Annual plans include 2 months free (equivalent to ~17% discount). Contact sales for annual pricing.

Where is data stored?

All data is stored in EU data centres. We are GDPR-compliant with a DPA available for all plans.

Can I bring my own cloud credentials?

Enterprise plans support BYO GCP or AWS credentials, allowing you to use your existing cloud agreements and billing.
